Euromanx flights to Isle of Man

I've booked tickets to fly from/back to London City Airport in early July via Euromanx, which ceased trading earlier this month. I am finding it hard to get any info about any 'rescue package' for people in my position (and I paid by debit card, bother it!). The Helpline is permanently engaged, needless to say.
Please does anyone else know what's going on for anyone trying to travel from London after the end of this month?

The Flybe website has a big notice about their rescue package for Euromanx passengers. These flights are NOT free, but at least you do not have to pay again for taxes and airport service fees.
And study the Oasis thread: many people did get money refunded even though they had paid using debit cards. Similar arguments might well work for you.0 -
Hi, the advice in this weeks Manx press is that Flybe are offering seats to passengers booked to travel up until the end of May, it is hoped that VLM will be able to offer assistance after that date, so you should check their website for updates.
If you booked with a travel agent, they may have airline failure insurance from which they can claim. If you have your own travel insurance you should check with them. If you are not covered by any of these, it may be useful to contact the liquidators in writing to register as a creditor of the company. You would be added to the list of people waiting for payment, but as an unsecured creditor would be one of the last to be paid, and then would only receive a small proportion of the cost of the tickets, if anything at all. Fingers crossed that VLM step in then...
Good luck, hope this helps0 -
Many thanks to the previous two kind people who have answered - much appreciated.0

Just to add i had a flight booked with euromanx for July and have rebooked it at no cost with flybe, though used the 01392 number off their (flybe) website not the 0871 on the euromanx site.
sorry to see them go, worked with a number of the staff when i worked for Manx Airlines a few years ago..
