How can people keep falling for this? Didn't the whole thing scream SCAM at you right from the start? A moneygram to India? !!!!!!!!I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

I think threads like this probably give the scammers ideas - I myself am surprised how easy it is to fool people!0

Mate do I feel like a proper mug!!! I wish I'd seen this forum before stupidly sendin the altogether sum of £485 2day to secure a £8000 loan from 48hr finance. Usually I'm on this stuff like flies round s**t but this time I fell for it hook like and sinker.0

Oh god.
They wanted you to send money via *Western Union*?
That just screams scam from the get go...0 -
I think out of all the we can offer you a loan scams, that people get conned into, this one has to be the most ridiculous one.
To a certain extent I can understand the others, most are based in UK, say one simple payment to them as loan agreed. On the face of it that is totally plausible.
People who fall for this though, really need a stern look at themselves. Send loads of money to India via money transfer, then send even more and then even more in some cases. People who are meant to be desperately looking for a loan actually agreeing to send £500+ in some cases to get a loan.
Imagine if someone was telling you this story down the pub, people just would say you're making it up, no one is that stupid.
I'm sorry but there is absolutely no excuse ever for someone to agree to something like that, absolutely none whatsoever.0 -

Gross stupidity?
I don't want to be overly harsh on people but in this instance you are correct - there really is no excuse.
I work in IT security and I'm amazed at some of the scams that some people fall for.
Have you ever had the email scam from someone in Nigeria that claims to have siphoned off millions of dollars in oil contract money and wants to split it with you if you help them get it out of the country?
I've heard of cases where people have actually been so suckered in that they have flown to Nigeria to meet the scammers to finalise the "deal". Of course, they were taken out of the city somewhere quiet and then beaten up and robbed.

Well i really have to sympathise with you all, We were also ripped off big time, Originally we got a call from an indian man from Blemein Finance with a guarantee of £4000 so we were thrilled as we have a poor credit rating and my partner is self employed... Anyway he told us we had to pay the first month in advance which was £169 and then we had to pay a £149 all via the western union, Again being told it was all refundable and cash would be in bank within the hour, so after using all our money and borrowing from family to pay these bills leaving us no cash left!! we waited and waited and called were told there was problems and the funds were not going through..

. but they could send there solicitor to hand the money over to us personaly for another £150.. eventually the alarm bells went and i spoke to the so called manager Jonathan, who told me they were 48hr finance, then fast finance, all money was sent to india and now our family are struggling as rent arrears is increasing no money for anything so they have left us devastated and screwed, keep away from anyone asking for money up front its not how companys work............ And yes to all those people who want to judge people on there actions, people do desperate things sometimes and things can be to good to be true but when you are in such financial difficulty you try everything you can for your family to make it better!! Dont be sucked in to any promising companys x

Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling0

Hahahahahahahaha my favourite post was the guy that sent £1,100 to Western Union for a £3,000 loan.
Sorry if i sound harsh but how foolish can you be? Does it not even remotely strike people as being slightly odd transfering £1000 to india for a £3,000 loan?
