I need a car loan of £7000 ive tried alot of companys for finance but just wont get it ive also placed a deposit on the car so really dont want to loose it I have untill the end of march to make the rest of the payment for the car. I also took a loan with welcome finance last year really stupid move really big APR was paying stupid amount of money back i missed a few payments so defualts but managed to pay back a 3year agreement within the first year. So does anyone know who would offer me the finance I require with bad credit????

I GOT RIPPED YESTERDay from a company CALLED 48HRFINANCE.COM
I APPLIED FOR A LOAN AND A MAN CALLED CHARLIE BROWN SED HIS COMPANY PEOPLE WILL COME TO MY HOUSE TO GIVE THE 3000LOAN AND THEY SED THEY WILL TAKE A 55POUND RECIEPT OF ME FIRST, THEN GIVE THE 3000 LOAN to ME. THEN YESTERDAY THEY CALLED ME AND SED THEY WILL COME TO MY HOUSE AND THEY SED FIRST I NEED TO SEND THEM THE 55POUNDS THROUGH MONEYGRAM TO THERE ADDRESS. SO I DID IT THEN I RANG THEM, THEN THEY ASKED FOR THE REFERNCE NUMBER ( THE NUMBER ON THE RECIEPT THEY NEED TO TAKE THE MONEY OUT) I SED FIRST COME TO MY HOUSE THEN U CAN SEE THE NUMBER. THEY SED NO GIVE IT NOW SO WE KNOW THAT U ACTUALLY DID SEND THE MONEY. SO I STUPIDLY GAVE THEM IT. AND THEN THEY SED THEY WILL CHEK THE REFERNCE NUMBER AND CALL ME BACK IN 15MINS. THEY NEVER RANG BACK. THEN I GOT A FONE CALL OF CHARLIe BROWN , BUT HE LIED. THE GUY SED he was EDDIE AND that he was GOING TO BRING the MONEY TO my HOUSE TODAY AND that i WILL HAVE TO GIVE 149POUNDS SOLICTORS FEE TO him FIRST THROUGH MONEY GRAM.
THIS IS WEN I FOUND OUT THAT ITS SCAM BECOZ THE GUYS VOICE WAS SAME AS CHARLIE BROWNS AND HE LIED THAT ITS ANOTHER GUYS VOICE CALLED EDDIE.
YESTERDY WAS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE. I LOST ALL OF MY BENFIT MONEY FOR
NOTHING.
when they asked me to send the money through moneygram, they gave me the follwing details incase it asked on the moneygram form
i had to send the money gram to a person called MARIN WILLIAM

I have applied to lots of companies for a unsecured loan, i have bad credit but can afford the payments, and was contacted by someone from 48hr finance, who said that they could definately get me a loan of 5,000.
I was told on tuesday to send 250 for the first months instalment to an address in india, by moneygram at the post office. I was told that after i had done this and they confirmed that it had been sent, a representative would call at my home with the credit agreements and the money, an appointment was made for 12pm, no-one came, at 3pm they called me back and said we called you what happened, I said no-way i have been in all afternoon waiting sat by the phone and no-one has called, he said it will cost you 100.00 to get the representative to re-visit you, this again had to be paid by moneygram to india. After doing this i was then told by a supervisor who rang me from 48hr finance that, the last payment of 50.00 had to be paid for the tax, then the appointment would be made and a representative would call, i was really cross, but was told that if i didnt send the money the other money that i already sent would be lost i was also told that i would get back the previous 100.00 for the re-visit by the representative, so like a complete moron i sent another 50.00, he never rang back, that was at 2.30 on friday7th, i have phoned there offices on 0203 239 2276 and left several messages they promise to get the guy who was dealing with my loan to ring me so far he has not rung.
Some people may think that i deserve to lose my money for being so gullible but when some one says that they can help you when everybody else has said no you get a little desperate.
I think that i have lost all my money and am now worse off than i was before.

Did you know that Gullible is not a recognised word in the Oxford English Dictionary??


In all seriousness though why on earth do people think they need to make upfront payments for loans? Surely the idea is for them to give you money and not the other way around, if anything I would expect any broker to take their fees out of the actual loan or place their interest on top of whatever money you are borrowing.

Yes, I'm afraid so. It is truly said that a fool and his money are soon parted, but is is very sad when this sort of thing happens to people who are already vulnerable. Never, ever pay any sort of upfront fee for a loan, and especially not by moneygram to someone in India!

hi I have also had a call from 'British Fiance' AKA 48hr finance yesterday about 6.15pm Inever applied to this company for a loan however they said I had been accepted for a 2000 loan and that a rep would come to my house today in the evening, they also said that NO upfront fees would be asked for. They gave me this number for customer services 02032392276 this number belongs to a very nice man who has nothing to do with 48hr they also gave me 02030264127 on this number a man called 'Charlie' said that my loan would be transferred to my account if I were to pay the first 75 installment via a money gram after reading this forum I told him that they were robbers lairs fraudsters and his reply to me was to 'just go and f..k off' he repeated this several times and i kindly returned the compliment. Now for anyone who has sent payment you have a case of fraud I
have spoken to the police and was given a website which I am sure will help it is 'WWW.ACTIONFRAUD.ORG.UK 03001232040 this is a goverment help[ line for people who have been scammed the rep who I spoke to said that the police can only get involved if you are out of pocket so anyone who has give a call.

Please post a reply so we can all work together to get these people closed down.
