Hi all
I have a problem at home currently when both the internet and phone are plugged in the phone does not ring, both the interenet and phone work perfectly well except on inconming calls there is no ring.
Has anyone out there come across this issue and might it be a simple fix?
Thanks

Is your internet speeds slow? I recently Wednesday night went from 2,848K down to 608K and the phone wouldn't ring. Logged a call with my ISP and them to BT as they also provide the phone line. Turned out it was a fault on the line one of the connecting cables has broke in the local exchange.Cheers

Hi Steve
Internet seems fine, we've had this issue for some months now......only just now getting round to sorting it out after an ear bashing from the misses....!!!
Phone works absolutely fine dialing out and when you plug in the phone on it's own the phone works perfectly!!! Just when you combine the 2 that's when the ring stops!!!
Cheers again0 -

Have you tried a different ADSL filter? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
