Where can I buy self levellign screed?

Will they have it in DIY shops or is it a case of going to a builder's yard? Also, is it likely to be heavy (I only need a small amount to level the floor where my washing machine goes) as I don't have a car.

Hi My hubby buys it in B&Q, so I assume most DIY outlets will sell it. If you have no car then I would probably phone around first.

can you not just prop up the relevant corners of the machine with something? must be cheaper and easier. also sit the machine on a peice of carpet, fluffy side down. makes it easy to slide in and out, and the padding reduces the noise.

Thanks, got the washing machine in place now so it may or may not need to be done after all!
