It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hey Ell I did. It'll go on the list :)

At the moment we have Minnie Orlandia Bean... can't see what's wrong with that can you? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I feel blooming awful though being serious for a min. I called my brother just a few minutes ago, left a message saying, call me I have a bit of news. His wife called back and I told her (she's such a sweetheart). Anyway, I asked how she was, she found out she was pregnant 2 weeks ago with their first, they've been trying for 2 years and starting fertility treatments. Anyway, she said she miscarried yesterday :( How flippin horrible did i feel? I wait weeks to tell them and manage to do it at the worst possible moment. Oh well, fingers crossed for them, they so deserve their own little bean.

    very!
I found the recipe a few years ago in the local paper one day and i've kept the scappy bit ofpaper in the bread binever since -it comes out every now and again for an 'airing' ;)

    8oz butter (unsalted)
100g plain chocolate in pieces (or milk if you prefer)
    2 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp cocoa powder (I use hot chocolate)
    2 tbsp sugar
4 oz Maltesers (or, amount to personal taste :p )
4oz white and milk chocolate chips
    4oz mini marshmallows
8oz ginger biscuits - crushed (I've used bourbons before - lush)

Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper

In a pan, heat the butter, plain chocolate, syrup and cocoa powder.
Once melted, leave to cool for 10 minutes

Put the Maltesers, biscuits, chocolate drops and marshmallows in a separate bowl. Stir together and add the melted chocolate sauce

    Pour into lined tray
Chuck in the fridge until set - mark into squares whilst it is semi-hard to make it easier to chunk up.

You can swap things around - I've used Smarties before, you could use chopped up twix instead of Maltesers, anything you fancy really. You can change the biscuit to whatever you like as well - digestives work just as well.

They are lovely........VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY fattening though! :rotfl: :D
