Travel Insurance Help needed

We are about to go on holiday to the UAE (visiting family). I have been looking into travel insurance but seem to have problems as my daughter has asthma. If I tick the box to say she has a pre-existing condition the sites either say they cant cover us, or that I need to pay silly amounts and contact them by phone. Her asthma is well controlled and she hasnt needed anything other than her preventative inhalers for over 5 years. Does anyone know of any company that might cover us but not charge the earth?

Hi there
I think you have 3 options;
1. take a policy that will not cover you for your daughter's asthma
2. pay a silly price for the cover
3. invite someone over 50 on the trip and get them to arrange cover for you all with Saga. Saga seem to be fairly flexible on things like this and provided 1 of you is over 50, you can all get cover with them.
Sorry if the 3rd option is not very valuable advice, but it was the best I could come up with at short notice!In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
