Delay in switching to Click Energy 4 tariff.

Back in December, I signed up for Click Energy4 online tarrif. I was on EDF pre-payment at the time. It took them from December to February to switch over, but because I had prepayment meters, they had to switch me to British Gas prepayment first then install the credit meters.

Now, from February up until now, I've been constantly ringing them asking when I will be switched over as the prepayment tariff is so expensive. I didn't sign up to prepayment and didnt want it, but it was necassary in order to switch over. They keep telling me that they are in the process and will get back to me. I'm still waiting.

Can I claim compensation for the extra charges (for the higher tariff) I'm being forced to pay because of the delay in them sorting out my new meters?
