ib and pension credit

hi im on ib and ppension credit (im nearly 62) can anyone tell me if i can leave ib and go completly on pension credit?ive been on ib for for 8 years.also if i came iff ib would i have to sign on at the jobcentre,thanks in advance.

I don't think you would have to sign on.
I think it is possible to go entirely onto pension credit, but why would you want to? IB is not means-tested but pension credit is.(AKA HRH_MUngo)
