World Savings Rates

Options
I was looking for some kind of table that would provide a comparison of savings rates around the world, but this seems impossible to find.

Anyone know where I can find this information ?

thanks Baz

the problem is that the round the world rates will be in different currencies. It will cost you about 5% to change your money to the currency and back again, and if the rates are high then it's usually because the currency is falling.

Currency exchange will be a problem yes, but central bank raises in interest rates do not necessarily mean the curency is weak, is the US raising rates? No, yet the $$ is the weakest it has been for a long time. The Australian central bank has been raising rates, is the Aus $$ weak? No it's the strongest it has been in a very long time, possibly in history> Central banks do not raise rates purely to defend their currency, hardly ever, they raise rates to combat either inflation or slowing economic growth. So the theory that high rates mean weak currency is flawed. The two may well be hand in hand but high rates are generally linked to either inflation or economic growth, what the currency is doing will be a product of something else.
