I'm not a brilliant mathematician either so please correct me if I'm wrong, but I calculate that by the end of the tax year (5th April) the £3,600 will generate £192.33 of interest (325 days), and the £3,026 will generate £158.67 (319 days) (Assuming the transfer goes through mid week).
This will give you total savings of £6977."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0 -
