Barclaycard Initial

Hi Guys
Just applied for a barclaycard initial online, said it would give me a decision in 60 secs, it then flashed up and said that they might have to write to me for further info or that they would send me the card through the post!
What do you think my chances are?? I have a poorish credit file nothing drastic just some missed payments in my past, I have a next catalogue and a capital one card, but cant get a current account for love nor money although I have not tried for about 2 years, got sick of the knock backs to be honest. I have a visa electron with Halifax and a normal cash card with my nationwide flex account.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated guys!

sorry you're having a bad luck run : ( hope it improves soon.
no-one can really tell how it will go...but i think not having a current account will not be in your favour. have you looked at the tips and stickies on the site to see how you can improve your credit status? it might be worth improving that before you try for any more credit.
