I use the recycling machine to collect points. On Sunday I spent ages putting in almost 2weeks of recycling. At the end it told me I hadn't scanned my card.. I know I did but pushed in the key fob again.... only this time it told me my card wasn't registered. Really annoying thing is I was using my old card and not the new one.. So I've lost possibly 30 odd points now

Yes, I phoned them up because have just transferred to EON for gas and electric and they put points onto clubcard. Anyway, the man assured me that the two card numbers will be linked  (not sure I believe them) and that the reason they had sent new cards out was that some people had had their cards for years.

Obviously making far too much money and couldn't think of any other ways to waste some of our hard earned cash

I've got an original card from when they very first started out. Gave me great fun as it won't swipe anymore, so they have to put it in manually each time.
I too have a new shiney one now :p
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

    Couple of points :)
The new Clubcard and the old point to exactly the same thing. You can carry on using the old Clubcard if you want, there's no difference betweeen the two of them. The number may have changed for some older cards (AFAIK should only be those without barcodes affected by this, & only some of those), but both numbers are effectively the same.
Points coupon wise- They've actually moved where most of these show on the recipt (A few still show with the items, not sure why), and they now show up just below the points total, in that box area :)

    Work for Tescos :(

    Cheers

Hi there - no need to lose them. If you don't think you'll use your vouchers before the expiry date, just call up CS and ask them to reissue with a new expiry date, they're very happy to do so. Makes saving for the more expensive items that little bit easier.....

I received my vouchers yesterday and the clubcard number on the vouchers matches the number on my new clubcard, so have faith, i think they are finally getting their records up to date.....! At last!

I still have £25 worth of vouchers put by which have my old clubcard number on so i am definitely keeping hold of my old card so i don't lose out on these!!

I would definitely advise anyone to keep hold of both cards until you have used up your old vouchers... I will recycle my old card, but not just yet...!
