Eaglemoss - Make it Groovy

I started a subscription for make it Groovy comic through Eaglemoss publications for my Daughter a year ago.
I have had nothing but trouble from them, when I first signed up they took the wrong address and the dopey operator couldn't change it so I had a right run around there, they were supposed to send an inflatable chair and pencil case as free gifts.
The chair has never arrived and the pencil case I had to chase up for months and when it did arrive the zip was broken (although they did sent a set of gel pens as an apolgy - although she already had these free with one of the comics).
She recieved two issues of no. 11, but no 12 or 13, I phoned them and they asked me to return issue 11 which I did, but she has never recieved the missing issues.
When I phone them they say they had a distribution problem but will send out within 2 weeks, they don't arrive so I phone again, this has been going on for over 6 months.
Today I lost patience and phoned and cancelled where I was informed they will only cancel after issue 34 (she is on 31) as I have paid for those ( I pay 3 months in advance) and refuse to refund me.
Their terms were 30 days cancellation notice, the issues are fortnightly so another 3 issues are 6 weeks, they are 2.99 an issue. I argue that they have broken their contract by not providing the issues and free gift promised, I also never agreed to a 3 issue cancelation period, but customer services refuse to budge.
I now have to write to head office to try and resolve this.Customer services couldn't care less, they never made any attempt to resolve the situation.
Just to warn you all, it's one thing getting ripped off but quite another when your kid is :-[

I very much agree with you greenstuff. Eaglemoss publication is very bad at customer service. I also had trouble with them not so long ago.
First the back issues of Make it groovy that I ordered for my daughter never arrived and yet they took my money, I had to ring them several times to get my money back.
Recently they sent me duplicate issues of 2 magazines which I rang up and told them. At first they wanted me to sent them back at my cost which I refused, so they sent me an freepost address label instead. Then a week later they sent me a letter asking me why I no longer require this 2 particular issues?
Hopeless!
