DVD rewriter problems

I have an LG multi dvd rewriter but I can't seem to transfer a film from my PC to a DVD. I think I have to format the DVD first, but I don't know how to. Anyone got any ideas?

You need some....

Put your blank DVD disk in the drive......Use somethign like Nero to create a DVD disc.....Drag the DVD movie files from your HDD to the blank disk. Click burn and wahaay!!!

went onto nero and software is not available yet. any other ideas?

Did you not get a disc with your rewriter? Normally you get at least a trial version of burning software with a rewriter.
