DVD rewriter problems

I have an LG multi dvd rewriter but I can't seem to transfer a film from my PC to a DVD. I think I have to format the DVD first, but I don't know how to. Anyone got any ideas?

You need some....
Put your blank DVD disk in the drive......Use somethign like Nero to create a DVD disc.....Drag the DVD movie files from your HDD to the blank disk. Click burn and wahaay!!!0 -

Did you not get a disc with your rewriter? Normally you get at least a trial version of burning software with a rewriter.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
