Cherry Monday (CherryMonday.com) has been spamming MSE a great deal recently. Unfortunately, under the guise of offering a few good deals, people have been falling for it.
The Cherry Monday website claims not to pass on your details to anybody else, so making it an attractive site on which to register your details. They clearly state:
However, closer reading of their terms and conditions shows that this is not the case:
So if you tick a box saying that you are interested in, for instance, Cosmetics, you are consenting to them selling your details to other organisations. This is not made clear anywhere on the website except buried in the terms and conditions.
In summary, for anyone that has signed up to Cherry Monday, expect spam in the near future.

Georgeandbungle I got a £5 boots voucher too!:T
I've had no spam either from them or any other website that I have signed up with since I've been a member of MSE to receive either freebies, special offers or to enter competitions.
The offer I received was genuine and I saved loads of money :money:
There is an unsubscribe option on their e-mail that could be used if in doubt!:T:money:has saved me a small fortune! Thank you.0
