Private motor insurance for a van

I have a small van which I used to use for my work when I was a courier. I therefore used to have commercial cover. As I now use the van only for non-commercial purposes I need to arrange private cover.
Can enyone recommend a suitable insurer/broker?

I don't know how to paste a link, so that may not work. If it doesn't, search the insurance forum for commercial vehicle insurance. There is a discussion area on it with plenty of links.

N.B. Regardless of the use to which you put the van, it remains a commercial vehicle and will almost certainly have to be insured as such. You'll probably need to discuss your situation with the insurers.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
