going abroad for the first time with dd and ds who are 2 and 4 and we think it will be a good idea to have the safety straps for when we are off the ship.
I have had a quick look and both boots and mothercare are wanting £10 for what are essentially two pieces of material!!
is there anywhere that has them for a reasonable price?

hope you are not going to France as they seem to hate these wrist straps, saying things like 'your child is not a dog' etc
I found a harness easier than a wrist strap as they they decide to run off the harness doesn't hurt them where as the wrist strap can0 -
you can pick them up in home bargains, ethel austin etc
a good alternative are the little backpacks with a detachable harness attachment eg

they can carry their own drink / toy etc inside and feel grown up

I agree, my youngest son hated the wrist strap, he just wriggled/waved his hand around until it was taken off/fell off  . I found them hard work.
I too would recommend the harness, I feel you're more in control
