Those of us doing it are trying not to spend at all but little things like postage do crop up, as does petrol, sponsorship money!! Last time I did it I managed to spend 2.33 which, for me, is unheard of! Feels great & no you dont count household bills...

Pig of a day but I resisted the vending machine!

    So no spending.

ISOM I am including the grocery budget money on this one as I have a tendancy to overspend. I'll see how it goes!

1 step I thik you may have mis-understood what I meant! When I ay we are trying not to spend at all I mean n anything - ie we plan ahead & use what we have so try not to spend a single penny - including groceries! Last time I tried I managed 2.88 for the whole week and that was only because I had a migraine & needed coke!! So far 2 NSD for me on this weeks!Certaily focusses the mind!

aww hugs for you. Early night & bath with bubbles always does it for me when I've had a bad day! Hope you feel better soon! We do them on an ongoing basis - a few of us who try to spend as little a poss or nowt depending on which week it is! You cant realistically spent nowt all the time but having planned weeks helps (as long as you dont panic like I did last week lol!!)

  • Hi everyone, hope you are alll well? I am trying to get used to a nw keyboard, hubby brought home a thing the laptop sits in with its own keyboard and its a little clunky.

Ok so spending...........................day 8 (yesterday) I had my roast for £2.40 and it was lush. That's my weekly treat to myself! We then went to Asda after loads of other stuff happenieng and I am fully stocked in flour/herbs/spices etc etc etc and luckily hubby paid for it all as I got a wee bit stressed out and had to leave the shop.

I might make a cake later!!!!!

    Spending was high today:

£20 to go to local city on a girly day out including £6 bus fare, Burger King (not sure how much) and some water. so had some change which s good.

Then spent £100 in evans on a complete wedding outfit that will do for at least 2 weddings and some parties as well. I did get the store card to get the discount but will cit it up when i get it and pay off the statement in full. I was a bit shocked at what I spent but so rarely treat myself that feel it was ok. Ish! I have 30 days to take it back if I change my mind.

Made mince and potatoes for tea which hubby hated, he said it smelt of liver and burnt his mouth. so he is going hungry now and I have frozen his meal for in teh week. Don't get me wrong he doesn't complain bt this must have really not appealed to him! (He knows that of complained too much he would be cooking all the time!!!!)

Possible spend tomorrow on some tobacco.

    have a good evening all.
