Any ideas for a cheap holiday end of August/beginning of September? It would be nice to go somewhere that is likely to be warm but not too hot as I do not like the heat. I do not know where to look for cheap deals.

    stay in the UK or go to France as we have found that northern france weather is much the same as ours :)

    how cheap is your definition of "cheap" ? ;)

    Not always that much cheaper than August, third week and later in Sept is cheaper
