Hi all
this is my first post so apologies if i have not asked question in correct forum.
i'm in the process of joining a/l prem current a/c and i have a few questions to cover plz .
firstly it does say it requires £ 500 a month in the a/c to avoid £5 monthly charge can i just deposit £500 for example and then take the money out the next day again so i avoid the charge ?
secondly once i join can i downgrade my account to a current account as i would just prefer a visa electron card and the fact you don't have to deposit £500 every month ? is this possible any1 know plz help ?
thanks:rotfl:

Sounds like a better idea would be to call A&L and ask them to downgrade your application. Dont see the point in moveing £500 about so much. Especially when you are looking at around 4-5 days between moves.0 -
forgot to mention i already have got the account now,, what i meant would be to pop in to a branch and deposit 500 and take the money out the next day would this be ok ?
if i change my account just to a current account do i get a visa electron card with it ?0 -

A&L dont issue Visa Electron anymore, they issue full Visa Debit either with or without Cheque gaurantee and floor limit.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Yes, but you may wish to note that A&L report to all three credit reference agensies, but unlike most banks they dont record status [0] instead they put status unrecorded, so it doesn't do much for your credit rating. It not bad but it isnt good either.
My A&L account reports little green zero's ...:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove
