Got there and was told I wasn´t on the guest list. Come back home, emailed head of music of XFM. He emails back to me within minutes (god knows why the poor guys is checking his work email while he is on holiday, (I did get an out of office reply saying that he was on holiday before he replied), poor thing, my dad is just the same, addicted to work. Anyway he emails back to let me know they´ll call me tomorrow, and then ...my mate calls me to tell me that the gig had to be cancelled half way through due to technical problems!..... what a weird day!

Good thing is that either I´m gonna get to see them again or I´ll get to go to some other gig after I speak to them tomorrow. have to try to convince them to get me tickets to MGMT!!! Wish me luck!

oh how crap - i would've been gutted to get all they way there only to be told 'your names not down, you're not getting in'! lets hope they give you something great to make up for it!

Not too far. Thanks god I live in London. If I was to come from outside London I would have camped at the astoria til they let me in.

I was reading some comments on websites afterwards and felt really sorry for some people that flew in from abroad just for this gig and could only enjoy a few songs. I guess it was good I did not sucumb to buy a ticket from any tout coz if I did and the gig got cancelled after overpaying for a ticket .... I would have to kill someone if that was the case. :P

Hopefully they´ll sort out tickets for some other gig for me tomorrow.

I´m off to bed now. Gotta wake up early to buy some madonna tickets!!! Woooohooooooo!!!!
