You could always ask, because when I said my first date she said the one bedroom accommodation had gone and offered me two bedroom for a supplement of £40 (which can hold six people).

Other supplements I was quoted:

upgrade to standard 2 bed = £40
Upgrade to Classic = £80
upgrade to Gold = £100

I just want to add that I've read some bad reviews about Pontins, although I have never been. Can anyone shed some light on what I can expect when I arrive at my budget accommodation in Camber Sands? Not fussed about the entertainment or activities, don't intend using them. But very interested in anybodies opinions of the accommodation in general

expect the worse and it can only get better lol

ive heard good things about the place myself, but i guess at least this way we can at least get a little taster of it, and if its rubbish then i shant be paying for a holiday there in future lol

Went to Brean on a sun hol expecting the worst from reviews I had seen, but was fine. Was basic but clean and kids had great time.
Bought tickets for Madonna concert today -hell of a lot easier to get -still on hold!
At least if get one will help break the news to hubbie about cost of ticket though!

Oh well -just got through but only June available, don't want to take son out of school so no good.

Barstewards!! Was on hold for 7 minutes and then it changed from ringing to a normal busy tone. What a waste of 7 mins!

Only £80 upgrade rooms available!

Did they not keep releasing more rooms/dates last year when they did this? Or am I mistaken?

Brilliant post - was on hold for 18 minutes, but did manage to get booked at Hemsby for 5 people - 2 adults and 3 kids - 27 June - no supplement - the operator asked her supervisor and was told to delete it!!
