Just to clarify- I used that many texts altogether. Not told 70 friends- dont have that many! About 5 were interested. One of them couldn't go because of their dog, one didn't book because they didn't have the date 'she wanted', another wouldn't take her son out of school.

Only one friend actually booked, another said she would ring 'when she got a minute'. I did stress to her to be quick but with 3 kids under 3 I can understand her situation.

Would have been easier to ring but I have hundreds of free texts so I was doing it MSE style

I got a holiday for prestatyn 7t h- 11th July. My kids were really excited but then we found out my hubby couldn't get the time off work, my kids are absolutely gutted.
I did put it on ebay at a low price just to raise some funds to take my kids out for the day instead. I have now ended the listing early and have decided not to sell. I did feel funny about it but thought as it was a prize i was within my rights to do with it what I wanted so I could treat my kids, cause they were loosing out.
Well I now have a 5 day break that I cant use so if anyone is interested let me know.

I worked at Pontins Prestatyn 38 years ago when it first opened and not been back to one since. Can anyone recommend places to visit in and around Hembsy for adults and will the "heated" swimming pool and club facilities be open "out of season".
