Just thought I would warn you all about this firm
we took out an insurace policy and it turns out these guys handle the payments
we changed our bank account and told them the next payment probably wouldnt go through, we offered to pay by card or cheque but was told not to bother as they would collect 2 payments the next month.
A few weeks later we got a letter from Amber Credit demanding £20 for a missed payment & informed if not paid asap another £.30 would be added
Spoke to amber & they refused to withdraw the charge as it was in there terms & conditions.
we cancelled the policy & DD & they can jump for the charges

Gibby, just wondering if you had any updates on this? I also have a £20 charge from Amber for a missed dd of only £10. They represented it for payment and it was paid. When I called them to discuss their demand letter they confirmed that the amount was paid and my account was up to date.
A month later I have another demand from them stating that I need to essentially pay up within 7 days to avoid debt collection proceedings....!
Have they chased you any further and, if so, have you paid or are you still resisting?
Thanks0
