if it has full peugeot service history this can be checked easily by getting in touch with the dealership on the service book,they will verify the mileage for you.OK, i contacted the trader and he readily gave reg and VIN. I have done a check with "vehicle check" (through auto trader website) and everything checks out except:
It is listed as one owner from new, this is confirmed.
It is listed as 19000 miles, but the report says there is no mileage history for the vehicle, but it is sold with a Full Peugeot service history. I'm a bit worried!!...work permit granted!0 -
the lack of mileage history only means that there has been no DVLA record of milage since the car was new. there is a volountary declaration of mileage on the road tax renewal form, not everyone fills it in.
the service history will have the mileage logged at each entry with the dealers stamp so should act as a guide to the mileage being correct.The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0
