well i hav on with halifax but the amount i put in is only 30 quid a month
as im a student and this is only what i can manage.....
however i was looking aroudn and isa's seem decent shall i just start puttign money in there?
will it not be better?

If you are not paying tax on your interest, there isn't really any advantage in going for an cash ISA (there isn't any problem either). You can only stash away £3000 per tax year, so you want to think about whether you can get all of your savings into one of these accounts before you start having to pay tax. So, for example, if you had £6000 savings and were going into your final year as a student, now would be the time to think about getting an ISA.0
