Hi,
I read somewhere that the people at the Sarfish Trelawny Beach hotel in Jamaica don't like changing large US $ notes.
I left my boyfriend to sort out the travel money & told him that we needed small denominations but he's just rung me to say he's got 1 x 100 dollar notes & 3 x 50 dollar notes among the money. Do you think we'll have a problem spending these?

why not try and change them for smaller notes at the airport
i know that in st lucia they dont like to change the large notes and if they do they give you your change in e.c dollars which can be really confusing .0 -
Hi Kirstyreanne
i went to this hotel xmas/new year 2000/2001, had a great time. whenever i go abroad i try never to get anything bigger than a $50 bill, but this is a big hotel so they should have no trouble changing $100 bills if you do have trouble ask one of the reps to change it
all the best hope you have a good time
