Since the rate is low we tend to save rather than overpay on the mortgage, as we can get more interest in a cash ISA0 -
I'm on BOE +0.49% lifetime tracker with the Abbey.I picked this one as I only owe £47k and don't want to be changing and looking for more deals. It allows me overpayments etc and is an offset.0

Our 3-year BofE tracker has just finished (Abbey) and when I phoned, the best deal was 6.69 fixed for 3 years
. I enquired about the lifetime tracker as this sounded the best option BUT the arrangement fee was £1,000!!! I can't afford this upfront and to add it to the mortgage would be mad - imagine all the interest (12 years left). There was a £99 fee but I paid this over the phone. DMP starts June 2012, £38,180.
Balance June 2015 £26,046 (paid off 32%)

Mine's BoE +0.3% due to run out in 2012.
Took it out as a 5 year deal about a year ago. Wasn't cheap at the time, but it is capped at 5.69% which has been a good thing this past year.Hoping this year is better than the last.
