Hi Lisa-R. I've got my appointment with CCCS booked for next Wednesday and I was horrified when I wrote down the amount I owed. I'm in a similar position in that I'm self employed. Things are slightly tricky in that I'm FSA registered so I'm very worried there's a risk I'll lose my authorisation and end up with no job, since I'm not qualified to do anything else - I am aware of the irony that I actually advise other people on what to do with their money! I am unable to take a salary out of my business this month and so spent all day today calling my various creditors to let them know I was unable to make this months payment, and I've been really surprised how nice everyone was to me. I'm not looking forward to the appointment next week, but after 6 months of constantly worrying about money, I'm hoping to find a solution with CCCS. Sorry, I know that's not helpful to you at all, but you sound in a similar position to me, and it's nice to know I'm not the only one.
