lol!!!! thats quite alright steve!!! what sally just said about doing it independantly is a really good idea, that way you aren't forced to do anything you might want to do, I know a few women who used to be escorts and you would not believe the things they were pressured to do, and I'm not just talking about sex. Why dont you do what sally said and put an advert in a london mag or something "MAN FOR RENT" would get lots of womens attention!!!! I say go with Sally's idea....what have you got to lose?!!!

I have some experience in this area (though not on a personal level, I didn't actually do the escorting!), and you really do need to be careful.

On the surface it would appear to be quite fun, and an easy way to make some money, but there is a reason why it attracts such high rates of pay.

Though women are less likely to expect sex from an escort than a man hiring a female escort, there will be many women who do expect sex, and you will be expected to provide it. The agencies that say that you are not expected to only really exist in tv.

There is also the possibility that the agency that you sign up to will have links with drugs, and you may be 'encouraged' to push these on your clients, or even to take them yourself. This is commonplace.

If you do not go along with what your agency expects of you, there can be nasty repercussions. Remember that these people will have your home address, and can easily get in touch with your loved ones.

There are good agencies out there, but they are few and far between. I would not go near any agency without personal recommendation from someone that you can trust.

But then the problem with going it on your own is that you have no backup. You don't know what situation you are walking into, or who you are meeting, or if you are going to get paid.

TBH I can think of easier ways to make money ... x

My partner works as a (female) escort. The company that employs her does allow anything and everything to happen between an escort and a client (so long as it's paid for) but she only does jobs where sex is *not* on the agenda. Her employer respects this and only offers her those jobs.

On the downside...lots of waiting around often when she is 'on call' and doesn't get any work - can be *very* annoying when calls arrive and interrupts other things, drugs and alcohol are frequently on the agenda, the clients are often self-obsessed and boring...ummm, what else :rolleyes:

There *are* reputable companies out there though, but like dmg said, a personal recommendation would make it a lot less risky, and personally I wouldn't touch any company that wanted a registration fee with a barge pole.
