subletting?

Hello again!

This may be the only option for us... does subletting mean for example, if I rented out a 3 bed house I can let out one of the rooms to someone else?

If thats the case then it would work out alot cheaper for us! But who'd want to live with a family with a toddler and a new baby?!!

You would usually need the LLs permission to sub-let.

You specifically need the landlord's permission for this. Most would not allow it.

Very few people I'd think to be honest. It'd be too much "your space" and very little "their home". They'd feel outnumbered and intruding. Not to mention the disruption/noise potential of the baby/toddler crying through the night when they've got work the next day. Etc.
