Offer for MINT card holders

Hi,
I rang MINT to cancel my card as the interest rates are no longer competetive - 16.9% standard or something. Girl on the end of the phone put me through to the closure department who asked if I had any balance on other cards. As my years 0% with Barclaycard had just ended I said yes, so she offered to transfer the balance at 6.9% for life, with no transfer fee.
Thought that wasn't a bad offer so would let you know in case you weren't using MINT anymore...

This is quite a normal occurrence and most CC companies will offer you a more competitive rate as soon as you threaten to cancel. 6.9% LOB is the norm and the lack of BT fee makes it a decent offer :cool:0
