For any of you don't venture to the competition area, Microsoft have been running a competition whereby if you use their search engine you could win Virgin vouchers and now Indiana Jones stuff. But I want to get rid of the search engine.
It comes up automatically on a second tab when you start Internet Explorer and I can't find it listed in Remove programs in the control panel. Anyone know how I can get rid of it?
Thank you as always!;)

If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.

I've not done it for a while, but this looks familiar:

Thanks phill. Tried that but its not even listed as a search provider when I click the arrow next to the magnifying glass. Google is my default search and Yahoo is also listed. Will keep hunting. If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0

Sorry, I mis-read your post. Sounds like you have 2 home pages:
" It comes up automatically on a second tab when you start Internet Explorer"
In which case, go to Tools - Internet Options - then remove the bigsnapsearch.com address from the box where you set the home page. If you only have 1 in there, only the single page will open.
Hope that is what you were after.0 -
Thanks Phil79, Big Snap has been driving me crazy!!!Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0
