Virgin Money transfered too much?

I tried my first attempt at stoozing this week asking for a 95% transfer when I activated my card.

I then phoned up to increase my balance and asked for a transfer of 95% of my available balance. The second transfer is showing in my cc accout now and somehow I've ended up £75 over my credit limit... Unfortunately I don't even have my card on me atm so I can't contact them. Will this affect the interest free offer?

Did you account for the fees?

It probably will stop your interest free offer, but if you're a first time offender, ring up and niceley explain the situation, hopefully they'll reinstate the offer. Many people have had their offer taken away and reinstated, but this only works once! They won't help you out if you mess up again.

I just asked the person I was talking to for a 95% transfer of my available funds, I asked her to work it out and she told me she could see the first transfer as pending on my account. Would it still be my considered my fault?

Not sure, best bet is to ring them up and explain. Be nice, and you should be OK!

Nope it would not be your fault just asked my missus who is a manager at MBNA :P

Call the retentions team and speak to them they will sort it out for you and make sure the rate will not come off.

Well that's a relief, they were very apologetic and have increased my credit limit so it won't take me over the limit :)
