Bought my breakfast and lunch to work, so no spend there. We've just moved offices and there's no longer the temptation of a canteen which I'm pleased about.

And I got a £2 coin in my change when I went to get some milk and bread so that's gone in the pot.

    Today I have
    • organised a £10 mystery shop for tomorrow
    • Done some daily clicks ( I use the vouchers that I get for Xmas so I dont have to spend so much)
    • Completed 2 Surveys
    • Talked myself out of buying something from the Fish & Chip shop for tea & cooked something from freezer instead
    • Did some book keeping work earning £170 for overpayment pot
    • Will put a gift of £30 from a relative towards the mortgage
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Today I have:

    - taken my own lunch to work.
    - just sold a book on green metropolis so need to pack it up to send out.
    - received 3 winning emails for things that I can hopefully sell on.
    - am playing free bingo, but no wins yet.
    - went into town after work (can walk there from my office) so I don't have to use petrol to come in at the weekend like I normally do.
    - agreed to cover my best friend's on call shift on Friday night so he can go to the pub. That'll be at least £30 towards overpayments and could be more depending what time he wakes up on Saturday and diverts the phone back to me.
    - am off to look for clickthroughs on pigsback as I've not had any this week so far.

Today I have made an overpayment on the mortgage whilst in town. I did have to buy some shoes for a dinner dance (I really did need some) so bought a pair that I will get plenty of use out off after the event.

I line dried the washing and my DH walked to the local butchers to save on petrol but he is now lying on the sofa because his arthritic toe is playing up!

Well, I am just about to get a scary morgage to start building a house and I have completly slipped back into my student money saving ways and I haven't even gotten the cash yet. Today when I was shopping for some food I made a point to go to the "reduced to clear" shelf and got a £7 ribeye steak for £4. Not much but it's a start!

Today I walked past the lovely butterfly buns shelf in Somerfield, and I have asked DH to bring me back his newspaper after his nightshift so I can take it to work to read tomorrow (no access to internet at work so can't read the paper online)

I brought in my own lunch again today (but gave into tempation and bought a coffee and brownie at elevenses)

I've just decided that I have enough savings (3 months salary in an cash mini ISA) so am going to stop putting half my monthly savings in ISA and half overpaying nortgage and start using it all to overpay mortgage (as I'm not offsetting). I'll change my siggy when I get a chance
