I am with British Gas at the mo. I am paying so much per month, really want to change supplier. Do I need to clear my bills completely before I can move ?
I think/presume the answer is yes, hence my problem everytime i gather enough money to pay my arrears another month or two goes by and the bill is up again.

Hi
What you will need to do is speak to the Customer Escalations Team in Leeds. Just call the usual number on your bills and ask for them. Quietest days are Tues to Thurs after 2 till 5 ish. Explain to them your situation and that you'd like to clear the debt. They should be able to help you. BG do have the Click Energy 5 rates out at the moment which are hard to beat so you can also ask to be changed to those. These are for online users.
Good Luck0
