Would I be mad to switch?
I'm currently on a dual fuel rate from Southern Electric fixed until October this year. I am thinking of switching to a longer term fix. The best seems to be Scottish Power, but it is considerably more expensive than my current rate (34%) according to Energyline.
The actual figures are: Gas Electricity
Southern Electric 2.86 up to 276 Kwh 10.39 for 42 units
then 2.02 then 7.85 after
Scottish Power 4.116 16.057 first 225 kwh per quar
then 2.751 then 9.47
Would I be mad to switch now?
Joe
