My 206 doesn't have the fog lights on either side of the grille (as pictured below), is it possible to buy them/get a garage to install them relatively cheaply?

Might be cheaper to find a 2nd hand front bumper from ebay or a breakers yard which already has them in...

Do without em. I have front fogs on my car, had it a year and half and only ever been able to legally use them once.

Although I suppose that doesn't stop many others cruising around illegally using them.

Would the wiring be in place?

Depends on whether you bought a bumper with the wiring in place, wouldn't it?

No, because the loom wouldn't allow for the lights if they weren't there from the factory.

You'd have to then retro wire in the circuit for them, well you do on my car anyway.

Just thinking the switch for front fogs would be missing too

Have you driven in fog with front fog lights on?

I suggest you try this first so you can see with your own eyes how useless fog lights are. Will save you ££ as well. Unless you live somewhere with lots of chavs and need to blend in.:rotfl:

I guess they're more a sort of low level light that increases visibility of you to oncoming traffic, and not designed to increase yours. As if you use full beams in fog you'll just get full beams reflecting off the fog at you with the level of the lights.

It's actually easier to see in the fog if you turn your lights off...!

You will never use them anyways, its easier to use your side lights in fog, or normal lights at night :). I

got pulled by the police a few years ago for having my front fogs on... it was probably one of the clearest nights ever mind you.. . I thought it looked cool having them on, but its illegal.

i have fog lights on my focus, when its foggy the front fog lights dont do much good when the area has any kind of street lighting.but i have found in the pitch black of the country side driving with the sidelights on and front fog lights does help visibility a bit.

and the original question, whether they are any good or not, if i was you i would try and find a matching front bumper with the fog lights in it,the get an auto electrician to wire them up,whether you do it through an after market switch or get the original thats up to you. but make sure its all done proper using relays not just straight feeds or you will soon have some melted wires.
