Natuzzi Leather Sofa

I've more or less decided on a sofa and chair from the Natuzzi store. I'm wondering if anybody knows when they have sales or if there's any way to get a discount. I'm prepared to haggle, but I've no experience, so any advice in that area would be appreciated.

Check other outlets, they are sold all over the place - ours was in a sale from a furniture store which has now unfortunately gone bust (probably too many sales!) .

Good choice by the way, ours is about 6 years old and is surviving everything a 2 year old can throw at it!

Wouldn't touch Nattuzi with a barge pole, had nothing but trouble with furniture from a retailer, need expert report and court case to get money refunded, for less than 2 year old leather sofa and recliner.

Sounds like a retailer problem rather than Natuzzi. Ours developed a fault straight after delivery - it was sorted out within weeks with the fitting of a whole new seat cover.

It was when the fitter took it apart to fit the new cover I saw just how well it was built and why it needs two of us to move one of the chairs.

Yes, I've done a little bit of research and the Natuzzi sofas sold by other retailers seem to be the ones that give problems. They don't seem to be as keen to customize either. I know exactly what I'm after and I've waited years, putting up with a grotty hand me down. I now finally have the money, but it's been hard to come by and it would be nice to get it knocked down a bit - they're not cheap !
Anybody else got an experience with them ?

It was the retailer who forced me to take it to the small claims court as they would not accept it was faulty, but it was a manufacturing problem that caused the hastle, i.e. the furniture was sub standard.

It was the padding/cushions/armrests,(fixed), that just deteriorated, they were replaced at around the 15 month mark,(parts had to be ordered form Natuzzi), and they went again after less than 6 months, no misuse of the furniture and no children jumping up and down on it, just normal usage.

Th retailer never turned up for the final hearing and the judge said to me, " if I had seen this report I would not have turned up either"

The independent experts report slammed the faults on the furniture therefore putting the blame on Nattuzi.

  • I bought a sofa from them 3 months ago and they never gave me a callback after asking for an ETA.

Last week, I called them and they said the sofa was already in England, but when they tried to deliver today, it didn't fit in the lift.

When I called the store, they said that they would have to charge me for getting it up the stairs, but didn't know how much it's going to cost.

They operate like the !!!!!, sorry, but maybe I'll end up taking them to small claims as well.
