Sun Clothing Etc. of USA

Watch out for these people they are strange. On 11 July 2005 I ordered some ProSport sunblock from https://www.sunclothingetc.com as I knew I would be going to Cyprus at the end of August and it would be Damn Hot. My credit card was debited immediately and I thought even from USA it should get delivered here in UK well in time for trip. Would be a bonus if I could use it during UK summer too.
It never came and after about three weeks I rang them up; they were all apologetic and said it was out of stock but would be sent soon.
Eventually though after a few more phone calls where I just got the answering machine I had to buy some sun cream locally, sent a letter to Visa to dispute the transaction and get my money back, and forgot about it while I went on holiday to Cyprus.
I did enjoy my holiday and am now back in UK and guess what, today 14 September the stuff has now turned up, dispatched on 10 September and they paid for super-expensive USPS Global Priority. (Incidentally Pro-Sport is now called "Iron Man" by its manufacturers but it's the same product.)
So I suppose I can keep it till next year but it's still a bit of a downer neither getting the sunblock in time for trip nor (presumably now) my money back either. Don't know whether the sunclothingetc.com people are dodgy or what now, perhaps they really were messed about by their suppliers. But anyway, be careful and monitor your order if you do buy from them.
