I have deleted some of the software. Now every time I switch the computer on it tries to re-install. I have been to the control panel to remove software, but in comes up with an error, then tries re-install again!!!!
Anybody any ideas please.

Well do a search, Start, All, Progs, Search.
Choose, all files and folders, enter required name, look in C:\
More advanced options, search hidden files or folders, (put a tick in)
Do a search, all the files that you want to get rid of you can delete from here.
Then restart machine
Oh yeah if it comes back on start up do this.
Start, Run, (Type) msconfig, Start up Tab, take a tick out
of the antivirus program, then OK and ok all warnings restart

You tried to remove Norton AntiVirus 2003/2002/2001/2000/5.0 by using Add/Remove Programs, but that process failed. This document describes how to use the Rnav2003.exe utility to remove Norton AntiVirus.
