Single Mum returning to work - quick question re HB

I've just returned to work, I had my appointment with my lone parent advisor, but I had my daughter with me and a lot of the info went in one ear and out the other.
I went in last Wednesday and was sure she said she had fast tracked my housing benefit application. A week later I have heard nothing.
Do they definitely do the housing benefit application or do I need to do it?
Thank you in advance.

Contact your local housing benefit office, make sure they have received it, I'd personally never rely on others to hand in forms for me because of the amount of people who have contacted me asking about it when forms haven't arrived. One day I might be more organised...........
