No reply to message after low price auction

I won a item several days ago, but I think the final price is not so high. So I gave the seller(7 feedback) a message to confirm this transaction then I would arrange the payment.
However no reply received. How should I do? I think it is no use to leave him a negative feedback as he may leave the same back. The main problem is such seller may waste your time if his item final price is not so high. Does anyone have some experience? Thanks.

How were you intending to pay?
You can report them as a non-performing seller if they continue to ignore you.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

How to report them as there is no email from them. Thanks.
The ebay Seller Non-Performance mentioned,
Make sure you include a copy of the email documenting the seller's refusal to complete the sale with the full message text and complete email headers when making your report.0 -
The question about how you intend to pay is relevant - what is stopping you paying now?
If you pay, it becomes their problem... although obviously don't do that if it's a lot of money! My TV is broken!

you could pull his details and ring him to make sure its all ok but i never wait for the seller to contact me after an auction, as above said, the problem arises after you have paid if he doesnt want to go ahead but atm you are at risk of being reported as a NPB.0

Yes, pay for the item NOW! preferably using paypal for your own protection.
At the moment, you are creating the problem by not paying for the item you have won. The seller certainly won't post it before being paid.
If, as you suggest, the "seller may waste your time if his item final price is not so high" come back for advice once that happens, but in my experience that is very rare indeed."Now to trolling as a concept. .... It's the risk of selling on ebay, you don't always get the price you're hoping for. Sounds like you've grabbed a bargain whatever it is so pay now (by paypal) and as they've said above you're fully covered. Good luck xJanuary - Nintendo Wii, 2 x Lush bath bombs :j

katec, the buyer is not fully covered even using paypal as the seller only had 7 feedback so can't be offering full paypal protection.
OP, if you pay, and I agree that you should do this, then make sure you fund your payment from a credit card for extra protection.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It gets complicated as paypal offer two levels of protection. The first level for low feedback sellers only offers basic cover up to £150 and does usually require funds to be available in the sellers account if they are to be recovered. The full paypal protection kicks in when the seller has more feedback and goes up to £500 and with full protection you stand a very much better of getting all your monies back in the event of a claim regardless of whether seller has moved it out or not.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
