I'm sure this has been mentioned before, I dont want anyone to get ripped off like a m8 of mine did.
Over the last 2 days I've been bombarded with emails claiming there from ebay uk or paypal (look very convincing) asking for my details etc. I had one from paypal saying my acount was suspended due to a anonymous person loggin in to my account....
Its quite easy to tell if the emails are fake or not.....just hover (do NOT click ANY links) your mouse curser over the link they want you to click on (usualy 'respond now' or something) and look where the link points to (displayed bottom left of most email clients)
My m8 got stung £30 because of it, I've shown him now but for him its too late....already £30 down. Don't want the same happening to any of you....This is MSE afteral, not MSW.

I spend time out of my day submitting information to these people that ain't real. I follow all the links and try to make it as convincing as possible, because they are scum at the end of the day.
I cannot stress this enough. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER log on to your ebay or paypal from a link in an email, ever, even if you think its legit. Goto the web address in your browser, it's much safer this way.0 -
Thx, good point!
Yup, do your bit by submitting these emails to the relevant departments. Usualy called 'scamming fuc@ers'
If my toe nails werent bonded so well to my toes I'm sure someone would try pinch them....0
