    Damn!

So that makes my shares worth £360. At their all time high they were worth £1350ish.

    Should have cash in.

/me has fingers crossed for a 400% recovery.

I'll grind my axe then, if donkingkong's is worn out....I'm not giving them any more money.....
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007

  • I'm not surprised the B&B 'failing' at all, I worked for them back in 1994/95 and they were'nt any better then!!

Compared to my 'favourite' job at the good old N&P!!

    Everyone loved the N&P!!

I remember when I worked in 'New Mortgages' a 'senior underwriter' refused to give a self employed man a mortgage he earned 45,000 a year had all the accounts for his work, They didn't want to know and gave the reply a polite = No.

We ( the workers) used to nickname it the Bradford & Bingley Baby Society as they were 'too' fussy as to who they would lend to and give an account to.

It was beyond belief how 'Old fashioned' they were - And that was over 10 years ago, So I am not surprised that they have finished!

I said a few years back that they would either go under or be taken over.

Just hope the 'spanish Armada' do a better job.

    Regards.

Well they are being nationalised now, another bank bites the dust
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

Only the non-profitable mortgage book, according to this Sky News report.

Ah ok, just heard it on BBC news, they just said they were being nationalised, they didn't really go into any fine detail
