Pay car insurance by the mile

Garage I had a courtesy car from recently charged 15p per mile which covered petrol and insurance for a basic Ka, I thought that was pretty good. I think pay per mile is a niche market for examples like this, it's probably just not worth it for your own car.0

I renewed at end of April, very low mileage, about 10 miles a week tops [use a bike mostly] and did look a the pay as you drive option.
It was bordeline for me, but chose normal insurance because the times I drive are often before the cheap periods, and I would be on suburban road at peak times
In the end it was just over £107 fully comp [Skoda Felicia] using a comparison site, my original company wanted £130 to renewWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0
