...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0

I'm not looking forward to your birthday at all, in fact I really want to erase it from the calendar but that wouldn't be fair! I'm having a 'procedure' and although I shouldn't need a general anaesthetic, I have to go starved from midnight and can't have anything to drink after 9am:eek:   Can't drive either so will have to get a taxi and it's aboutimmoral_angeluk wrote: »and HOLY CRAP it's my birthday 3 weeks today

Ooh I got a fantastic bit of mail for the Red Pen Club yesterday - Yes Loans, complete with a leaflet from Yes Car Credit and some dodgy debt management company as well.. shall have some fun with that later (don't think I own a red pen though!)Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

To be honest, I want answers now... I've had about 5 episodes of diarrhoea and vomiting since January and each time there's been a fair amount of blood. I fluctuate between borderline-anaemic while my serum iron levels increase (like now - I don't need a blood test to tell me I'm anaemic cos I'm really tired and everything is such a drain). In a couple of weeks it'll change to normal haemoglobin levels and low serum iron!
Of course, with the bleeding I've run through everything it can be from cancer and ulcers etc. I honestly never thought I'd pray to be diagnosed as having piles:o but that seems to be the 'nicest' thing it could be!
And then you can call me a pessimistic planner, but I've already written down my wishes for my remains just in case it is something nasty.
The thing that really gets to me, I can't donate blood at the moment and I'm quite a rare group so I like to do it at least once a year (if not more)! But whilst the doctors can't identify the cause of the bleeding, I can't then go on to give blood!
Anyway - enough of feeling sorry for myself!
 Sarah - I'm sure you'll have a lovely birthday.
