Orange's customer service is shocking, but only if you can actually get through to customer services in the first place.

A lot of comments on the first page suggest otherwise.0 -
I used to be an advocate of the high level of Orange CS and network services. Over the last 2-3 months however I have heard nothing but bad feedback from friends, work colleagues and the MNO industry itself. They seem to have made the decision to provide a bad network service - dropped calls, undelivered/ late texts, ridiculously unhelpful CS staff and outsourcing some CS to India. I experienced this my self recently and it took me 3 weeks to get a resolution to my issue. I am astounded by the amount of people I hear complaining about this. I cannot believe they have decided to destroy what was once a great network with great CS. Now it is on a par with the company formerly known as ntl !!!0

my experience of Orange this week has been far from acceptable, and I have been told today by a supervisor call handler that the only way to complain is in writing- no one can deal with problems via their call centre.
I came across this thread trying to find a phone number which will get me through to someone who can deal with a website purchase problem.
This will be our last Orange purchase.x x x0 -
The only time I've had efficient service from Orange is when I've either asked to cancel my contract or get a PAC code. For example, when I was on the phone to Orange to get a PAC the battery died on my phone and I put off calling again for when I wasn't so busy. A few days later I got the PAC through the post, seems the person I spoke to went the "extra mile" to lose a paying customer.0

If you have cancelled your broadband check that Orange are not charging you for it. I only found out when my card details changed and they rang up to ask me for the arrears that they had been fraudulently collecting since January. However, managed to get them to refund the £190 evenually by contacting their customer services team.0
