The Blackburn Assurance Company - who are they ???

My Mother in Law recently passed away and we have a policy that her parents paid into that is with a company THE BLACKBURN ASSURANCE COMPANY located Dale Street Liverpool.

I cannot find them on the net and wondered if anyone knew if they had been taken over by anyone ?????????????

Hi, I'm looking for some guidance please?

We have just found a policy of my grandma's with the BACL.

Does anyone know what we do with it? She passed away 2002 and the policy is dated 1955.

The Exor of her estate (or the beneficiary if the estate is now otherwise complete) should get a claim form and submit it. You'll certainly need the Death certificate to accompany the claim (also her husband's if he was shown as the beneficiary in the original policy)

hi can you help
we just dicovered a life ins policy for blackburn !!! comp dale street liverpool for my deceased grandparent who died in late 70's taken out in 1936 and never cashed in.
not too sure what to do next
